We are overjoyed to share a milestone for our planet and our heritage: the Swoyambhu Religious Forest Reforestation Project – II is now complete!
On September 16, 2025, the sacred grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage site witnessed the birth of a new, dense forest using the revolutionary Miyawaki method. This isn’t just a plantation; it’s a thriving ecosystem in the making, designed to:
✅ Boost Biodiversity by creating a home for countless native species.
✅ Restore Natural Habitats and bring back the area’s ecological balance.
✅ Act as a powerful ally in the fight against climate change.
This living forest is a testament to what we can achieve together. But the journey doesn’t end here. We invite you to become a part of this growing legacy.
The Numbers Behind the Green:
✅ Total Area: 1445.5 sqm
✅ Total Saplings Planted: 3500
✅ Total Species: 50(All native to the region!)
